FORMULATION CHARTER
Our research and development is carried out in collaboration with the CNRS Occitanie Est (Department of Chemistry and Molecular Materials), and with the Charles Gerhardt Institute in Montpellier. Our R&D project is directed for the Laboratoires SILKBIOTIC by Pr. Gérard Redziniak, doctor in sciences and expert in cellular biology.
The collaborative research part is directed by Pr Sylvie Bégu. The research team explores all the properties of the silk cocoon in order to shine a light on new applications in the health and dermocosmetics sectors.
Efficacy on the Microbiome

SILKBIOTIC formulas are developed to both rebalance the skin microbiome and provide the heart of the skin with restorative active ingredients that improve cell regeneration.
Our Ingredients
Our ingredients are meticulously selected to suit all skin and hair types, even the most sensitized. We favor the quality of the ingredients over the quantity, by choosing the most natural ingredients possible, subject to their proven effectiveness and their affinity with the skin.
Our formulas exclude controversial synthetic ingredients, such as mineral oils, silicones, endocrine disruptors and synthetic preservatives (parabens, phenoxyethanol). The face care range is formulated without perfume and without essential oils.
Naturality
Our products are formulated with ingredients of natural origin, and of organic origin when possible. Our formulas are composed of more than 95% ingredients of natural origin.
Made in France
All the design stages of our formulas are carried out in France: research and development, formulation, manufacturing and packaging. We choose recyclable packaging, but also refillable when possible.
